I used a birthing pool for the births of my 2 sons and love the idea of a water birth, and want to share the wonder of being able to have a baby naturally with minimal intervention. All the information is pointing to water as a great medium for labour and birth helping to lower the amount and rate of intervention. Staying active and upright and using gravity to help with childbirth seems a very logical and going back to basics concept, it certainly worked for me. So, by being an agent for Aquabirths I can help to make it easier for people to gain access to pools and promote the use of water in labour and for births.
